Wind Power Comes to Absecon
Part of Absecon’s mission is to be a responsible corporate entity. Lean Manufacturing and recycled (and recyclable) raw materials have been an integral part of our operations. In a continuing effort to promote environmental viability, Absecon Mills has opted to participate in New Jersey’s Clean Power Choice Program.
“The opportunity to buy clean and renewable wind energy allows us to proactively foster the principals of sustainability. The cost of 1.3 cents more per kWh is a small price to pay for the meaningful impact on our environmental future,” said Randolph Taylor, President and CEO.
This newest effort and the concentration on designing products that save resources, have longer life, use Lean Manufacturing, recycle easily and portray sustainable attributes are part of Absecon Mills’ commitment to a positive impact on economic, environmental and social progress.
